Yes, tested on 5.1, latest Patchset (9...). Using USB-Passthrough it works, but as told a million times before once u want to passthrough a whole PCI-USB-Adapter - after the reboots its gone off the passthrough devices. So you can actually add it but after the necessary reboot its gone again.
Still no official answer from VMWare here - nearly 30.000 Views - incredible support.
